How to watch CDL Challengers Champs 2022

The conclusion to the amateur season

The conclusion of the 2022 Call of Duty League season is upon us, as Champs is approaching in less than two weeks. While a majority of the community will be focusing on the main Champs event, which sees the top eight CDL teams battling it out, Challengers Champs is also taking place at the same time and location.

Like the main event, the amateur Champs tournament features eight teams. However, four different regions are represented, which led to some top-tier North American squads not qualifying for Champs. That controversial decision aside, Challengers Champs should be a terrific viewing experience, as the amateur scene has been ultra-competitive all season long.

There are some questions as to how to watch the event, though, as it takes place at the same time as regular Champs. Fans are wondering what stream they need to tune into and what times both of the tournaments will begin. We have all of the viewing information for CDL Challengers Champs below.

Watching CDL Challengers Champs

The professionals and amateurs will share a venue for Champs this season. Both tournaments take place at the Galen Center in Los Angeles. The Challengers players won’t be on the main stage for every match like the professionals, but they will have their own stream so fans can watch both tournaments at the same time.

Challengers Champs will be streamed on the CDL Challengers YouTube channel. This channel is much smaller than the main CDL YouTube channel but this way, fans can watch both streams simultaneously. It’s unclear exactly when the Challengers matches will begin, so fans will have to stay tuned for that information.

The eight teams in attendance for Challengers Champs will be fighting for the lion’s share of the $250,000 prize pool. First place at the event rewards $100,000 while the bottom two teams will only take home $5,000 each. As Vanguard has proven, no one knows what’s going to happen on a given day, so it’s anyone’s tournament. The action begins Aug. 4 and will conclude Aug. 6 for the Challengers.
