If you’ve been following Call of Duty for a while now, you’ll know that each seasonal update is absolutely packed with new content, some of which drops at launch, while the rest drops with the Reloaded patch later in the season.

As always, the developers are adding new weaponry to the game for players to wield, and Season 2 is no different. Not only are we getting the BP-50 Assault Rifle, but we’re also being treated to the RAM-9 SMG, and here’s how you can unlock it in MW3 and Warzone Season 2.

How to unlock MW3 and Warzone’s RAM-9 SMG

MW3 and Warzone’s RAM-9 SMG can be unlocked by completing Sector B6 of the Season 2 Battle Pass. Players can select the sector, play matches to earn XP, and then use Battle Pass Tokens to select and unlock the RAM-9 SMG.

Thankfully, there is no additional challenge that requires completion, so just jump into matches and get grinding.

A cousin of the RAM-7 Assault Rifle, the RAM-9 is a bullpup SMG that uses 9mm ammunition. According to the developers, the RAM-9 offers “among the best-in-class recoil control and mobility,” and also has the most ammunition of any weapon in the class too.

Of course, it’s not clear where this weapon will stand in terms of the meta for MW3 just yet, and it’ll have to be powerful if it wants to unseat the WSP Swarm as the game’s best SMG. Still, new weapons to the game often find themselves towards the top of the usage rankings, so we’ll keep an eye on its performance.
