While Set 6.5 has emphasized a lot of four-cost carries, there are certain re-roll compositions that remain viable in Teamfight Tacitics. One of the best is Twitch re-roll. The little chemical rat has emerged as one of the best one-cost carries, similar to the meta before the mid-set update. It was also untouched by the most recent 12.4b patch.
Early to mid-game Twitch re-roll

Off of carousel, you’ll want to aim to grab a Sparring Gloves or a Recurve Bow if possible. These will give you the best chance of finding best-in-slot Twitch items. Tanks items are okay, but Ability Power and mana items are less useful in this comp.
Twitch re-roll can be a bit of a tricky comp to force. If you don’t find any Twitch units in Stage 1 shops, you might be in for a tough time. That said, if you’re finding other core units like Ezreal, Zilean, Singed, Warwick and Camille, you can still sometimes make it work. In the early game, you’ll want to collect as many of these units as possible. Finding a 2-Star Twitch is crucial, but you almost never want to roll for it until you’ve maxed out your 50 gold interest cap.
Another important note is that you don’t want to buy XP. Save your gold and stay at Level 4/5 for as long as possible for better odds of finding Twitch. You’ll want to roll excess gold over 50 and look for the crucial early game Innovators and Chemtech units seen above. Hitting 2-Star and then 3-Star Twitch, Singed and Camille should be the first priority. Finding Ekko will also help your early comp by letting you put in another Innovator and an Assassin to pair with your Twitch.
Once you have three-star Twitch and one of either three-star Singed or Camille, you can make the decision to start leveling. Hitting 3-Star two-cost units like Warwick can be nice but don’t get hung up on trying to 3-Star every unit on the board. Once you find Twitch and Singed/Camille, focus on pushing to Level 8.
In terms of items, try to get strong Twitch items like Infinity Edge, Last Whisper and Runaan’s Hurricane. Deathblade, Giant Slayer, Bloodthirster and even Rapid Firecannon are all decent substitutes. Load any tank items you get onto either Singed or Camille, whichever you can 3-Star.
Final composition and positioning

The final composition in Twitch re-roll allows you to leverage three Chemtech and two Assassin, along with Innovators. Without Augments, you’ll end up with 5 Innovators at Level 8, which gives you the Mechanical Bear. Feel free to substitute out Ezreal (if he’s not 3-Star) with a Jayce if you hit one.
In terms of positioning, try to get Twitch to jump to a safe spot on the enemy’s backline where he can target their carries. You can also put him on the Socialite hex if you end up playing Seraphine for a bit of extra damage.
Once you have best-in-slot items on Twitch and tank items on Singed/Camille, you can focus on giving your other strong units items. Ekko can make use of items like Frozen Heart and Morellonomicon. If you find a Jayce — especially a 2-Star Jayce — feel free to load him up with a Blue Buff and some Attack Damage items as well.
There’s not much needed to hit Level 9 in this comp as it caps out pretty hard on Level 8. It’s also just difficult since you usually spend a lot of your gold re-rolling for the one and two-cost units.
Augments
Twitch re-roll can use a ton of different Augment choices well. For starters, finding Emblems or Hearts for Chemtech, Innovators or Assassins can help you reach Chemtech 5, Innovator 7 or Assassin 4, which you ordinarily wouldn’t use in your final board. Outside of that, Twitch uses AD and Healing Augments well. Something like Knife’s Edge can work because you can usually position your Twitch to jump from any row. Featherweights is also a fantastic Augment for this comp because you rely on so many one and two-cost units. Another great choice is Instant Injection, which gives your Twitch a huge boost right at the start of combat.
