A new rare weapon skin is coming to Apex Legends.

Just a day after the Spellbound Collection Event concluded in Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment announced another big event. This time, it’s the Celestial Sunrise Collection Event, which will be live starting on Jan. 23 and run until Feb. 7, 2023.

Traditionally, collection events offer some kind of rare cosmetic for players that already unlocked every other base cosmetic item that’s included with the event. There are usually 24 exclusive cosmetics that can only be unlocked through event packs or direct purchases. Then, if players manage to unlock all 24 items, they will receive a rare reward. In the Celestial Sunrise Collection Event, the reward is the Jadeite Retribution Peacekeeper skin.

This particular skin was revealed in the gameplay trailer for the upcoming collection event. It’s a truly eye-popping skin for the Peacekeeper shotgun, featuring a bright red color scheme with green crystals coming out of both ends of the gun. Veterans of Apex Legends will likely recognize this skin as the Frostbite and Blood Stone Peacekeeper skins that were released in the Season 3 Battle Pass. However, many players weren’t around back then, and the Jadeite Retribution skin would be a brand new addition to their cosmetic locker.

Getting the Jadeite Retribution Peacekeeper Skin in Apex Legends

As previously stated, the get the Jadeite Retribution skin is only unlocked after you’ve acquired all 24 Celestial Sunrise cosmetics. You can buy all of the cosmetics using either Apex Coins or Crafting Metals. Of course, it’s unlikely that players will have enough of either currency to buy all 24 items. This means players will have to rely on packs or spend real money on Apex Coins if they want the get the Jadeite Retribution skin.

In the past, unlocking all 24 items in a collection event costs roughly $160 in Apex Coins. That can be decreased if you have enough Crafting Metals or pre-existing Apex Coins.
