How to get Dual Pistols in COD Mobile

Two is always better than one

One of the most popular attachments in Call of Duty history is Akimbo, which allows players to equip two of the same weapons in either hand instead of only one. In COD Mobile, Akimbo is still a perk, but players specifically want to know how to use it to get dual pistols.

Traditionally, the Akimbo perk has been reserved for the pistol class, but the attachment has also been seen on shotguns and submachine guns as well. For several years, Akimbo was not available in COD Mobile, but the attachment was added in 2021, finally allowing players to run around with two guns in their hands.

However, only two weapons currently offer the Akimbo attachment, and only one gives players the ability to run dual pistols.

For starters, the only two guns that currently offer the Akimbo attachment in COD Mobile are the Fennec 45 submachine gun and the .50 GS pistol. Obviously, if you want to run dual pistols, you need to unlock the .50 GS and its Akimbo attachment.

To unlock the .50 GS, you need to complete its associated challenge within the pistol section of your loadout. It’s a secondary weapon, so click on your secondary slot in any loadout, scroll over to the .50 GS, and read the challenge that appears. Once that challenge is complete, you can equip the .50 GS and begin leveling it up to eventually unlock the Akimbo attachment.

I recommend queueing up for smaller maps and objective-based game modes, such as Domination and Hardpoint, to easily level up the .50 GS. After reaching the right level, equip the Akimbo attachment on your .50 GS loadout and the next time you spawn into a match, you will have two of the pistols in either hand instead of one.

While in Akimbo, you can no longer aim down sights, so I suggest keeping your engagements close range while using two of the .50 GS. Your accuracy will suffer as well, so try to fire the pistols slower than normal.
