A League of Legends global contract database update on Thursday revealed that AD carry Steven “Hans sama” Liv has signed a three-year contract with Team Liquid and that jungler Kacper “Inspired” SÅ‚oma signed for that same duration with Evil Geniuses.
Both players are coming from Rogue and were bought out by the League Championship Series squads during the offseason, but the contract durations indicate an extension of their previous deals. Hans sama had one year left on his contract with Rogue, and Inspired had a two-year contract with the organization.
Hans Sama was announced as Team Liquid’s starting bot laner on Tuesday, and Evil Geniuses announced Inspired on Monday.
After his exceptional performance at Worlds this year, we're excited to welcome @Hanssama to Team Liquid.

During their time with Rogue, both players managed to qualify for Worlds 2020 and Worlds 2021, though they couldn’t make it through the group stage of either tournaments despite convincing results domestically. At Worlds 2021, Rogue were eliminated 2-4 in a tiebreaker against Cloud9, just missing out on the knockout stage out of Group A. Eventual runner-up DWG KIA was also in the group, as was 2019 world champion FunPlus Phoenix.
