Following the very recent news of Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg leaving Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), rumors of a Dignitas return to CSGO came to life. Now, CSGO legend Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund has reunited with f0rest, Richard “Xizt” Landström, and Adam “friberg” Friberg. Joined by a new youngster, HÃ¥kon “hallzerk” Fjærli, this will mark the return of Dignitas to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competitive scene.
A legendary team reunites
The quartet consisting of f0rest, GeT_RiGhT, Xizt, and friberg is back, this time to represent the Dignitas (DIG) banner. The former NiP quartet, alongside Robin “Fifflaren” Johansson, found fantastic success in the early CSGO years of 2012-2013. NiP were a dominant force at that time, and they could very well be compared to the sheer dominance presented by Astralis throughout the 2018 CSGO season. The team won ESL One Cologne 2014 (Major) and held an incredible streak of 87-0 between 2012 and 2013. The four legendary faces in the world of CSGO competed under the NiP banner for five straight years (2012-2017) and have retained their popularity to this day.
The fifth member of the former NiP team, Fifflaren, has also found his place in the organization. Fifflaren will take up the role of the coach of the Dignitas new, massively experienced roster. The coach spoke up on the official DIG website:
“I’m super excited to be joining the DIG family. It was important for me to find an org who values the players and respects the process and I believe that I’ve done just that with DIG. I look forward to doing great things together, Let’s go make history again.”

A fifth player to reignite the fire
The fifth slot of the DIG roster features HÃ¥kon “hallzerk” Fjærli. The Norwegian is coming on board to drastically lower the team’s average age. Being only 19, hallzerk is to bring new life into the roster alongside his veteran teammates, whose ages average at around 29-years-old. The young player previously starred for the Norwegian BX3 before eventually moving onto Nordavind, where he impressed with his AWPing ability.
Surely, with enough practice and the countless heaps of experience that hallzerk will be exposed to, he can become a major name on the CSGO scene in no time.
