Berlin-based esports organization G2 Esports has further set in stone its title as best League of Legends team in the world. Now it has been revealed that G2 has the entire starting lineup chosen for the 2019 LEC Summer Split’s All-Pro team.

This includes Top Martin “Wunder” Hansen, jungler Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski, mid-laner Rasmus “Caps” Winther, ADC Luka “Perkz” Perkovic, and support player Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle. One player was voted per role for the best player during the League of Legends European Championship Summer Split. A panel of professional players, broadcasting talent, coaches, and 3rd party media members submitted their votes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd players.

The second-place team had a mix of players from Origen Esports, Splyce, FC Schalke 04, and Fnatic. The third team consisted almost entirely of Fnatic players, save for the support role, where Zdravets “Hylissang” Iliev Galabov made it to second place instead. Some of the players picked for the first All-Pro team had more than double the points of their second-place counterparts. In 2015’s EU LCS, Fnatic similarly had their entire main lineup on the All-Pro team after going undefeated the entire split.

During the 2019 LEC Summer Split, G2 Esports finished in first place with 15 wins and 3 losses. The team only lost one game each to Vitality, FC Schalke 04, and Fnatic. G2 plays their next game in Round 2 of the LEC Summer Split Playoffs. They play against Fnatic on August 31 in a best of five. G2 has already qualified for the 2019 Worlds Play-In event through their Championship Points. By winning the Playoffs, they will instead directly proceed to the World Main Event.
