League of Legends has partnered with Twitch.tv, allowing Twitch Prime members to claim free in-game loot until May 14th. Once the “Summoner’s Crown Capsule” has been claimed, opening it will unlock one random permanent champion skin, a ward skin, and a summoner icon.
This is the second time Twitch has given away League of Legends skin capsules for Twitch Prime members. If you already use Twitch.tv often, or have an Amazon Prime account, make sure you’re not missing out!
Free Twitch Prime trial
To claim your free loot, you will need a Twitch Prime account. Luckily, you can sign up for a free thirty-day trial and still receive the benefits that come with. All you need is an Amazon account, and directions to sign up for Twitch Prime can be found on the Twitch.tv website.
Once you have secured your Twitch Prime free trial, you need to link your League of Legends account on the Riot Games’ website. After that, all you need to do is navigate to your Twitch Prime loot page and claim the capsule for it to appear in-game.
If you are already an Amazon Prime subscriber, you have full access to Twitch prime, its loot, and one free subscription per month. You can link your accounts on the same page that you would start a trial.

Other perks and loot
League of Legends isn’t the only title that has loot for you to claim, however. Many other titles, such as Call of Duty and Apex Legends currently have free loot bundles that you can claim with your Twitch Prime trial as well. Subscribers also receive the benefit of various discounts for games and free downloads of many titles. Be sure to keep an eye on your loot tab on Twitch to keep up to date with all your current offers.
On top of loot, you have the ability to subscribe to one streamer for free with Twitch Prime. Subscribing not only allows for you to use that channel’s Twitch chat emotes across the website, but it also allows for one to support their favorite content creator.
If you’re planning on only signing up for the one-month trial, remember to cancel your subscription before the month ends. Once your trial ends, you will be charged $12.99 USD per month. While you still have access to the free League of Legends capsule until May 14th, other offers are ending soon!
