Sugita is known as a gaming industry veteran and has served an important role in FlyQuest for over two years. In her new position, she replaces previous CEO Ryan Edens, who is now the organization’s new President. In an official statement, Edens shared some good words about her. “There is no one more qualified and deserving to lead FlyQuest than Tricia. Under Tricia’s leadership, FlyQuest has united under one vision.” That vision is their brand of “Showcase Greatness”.

Of course, Sugita is more than ecstatic to start this new journey. She shared, “I am honored and grateful to be the CEO of this organization that I care deeply about. The heart of FlyQuest is ‘greatness’, and it drives everything we do.”

Sugita is also known as a big supporter of women in gaming. She participated as a speaker in Lift1Up’s event, discussing the importance of women in the competitive gaming scene. Since encouraging positivity is part of FlyQuest’s brand, Sugita hopes to open doors to greater opportunities in the future.

Go Green Initiative

One big project that Sugita will handle is the “Go Green Initiative”. Fans are expected to notice FlyQuest “Go Green” in all aspects of their decisions, be those involving community activation, jersey designs, or campaigns. The organization will also raise money to plant trees and move forward with its mission to “Save the Wild Turtles”.

FlyQuest moving forward

Additionally, Sugita has announced their new training facility, dubbed “The Greenhouse”. This facility will equip the team with the resources needed to successfully compete in future competitive games. Fortunately, they will have tons of space to practice and grow as an organization. With over 7,000 square feet, they’ll get to enjoy practice rooms for both the LCS and Academy teams. The house will also feature ching and review rooms, content studios, and open workspaces.

As the company wants to show fans their dedication to making positive change, they hope to “address important environmental issues together.” Besides showing constant support for women, FlyQuest also previously led initiatives in supporting students and refugees. As Sugita starts to take on her new role, FlyQuest is sure to be a leader for a progressive future.
