FlyQuest took down TSM 3-2 in the 2020 LCS Spring Playoffs, pushing them forward to next week’s Semi-Finals. With TSM eliminated, FlyQuest will next face off against Evil Geniuses. The winner is set to play Cloud9 in the upcoming Finals.

In a tug-of-war between both teams, FlyQuest managed to defeat TSM in the fifth game of their match-up. The first match had the casters anxious, as the almost 50-minute game had both teams defending their base. TSM’s Mid Laner Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg finally managed to teleport to FlyQuest’s base to end the game. Unfortunately, the victory didn’t last long, as FlyQuest made their games difficult to win for the rest of the matches.

Fast forward to game four, and TSM was able to stand their ground and defeat FlyQuest with impressive stats. Almost every TSM player had more gold than their enemy, and the finals stats on Bjergsen proved that he was the most valuable asset to the team. As he played a perfect game as an 8/0 Sylas, FlyQuest’s Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage’s Leblanc had trouble getting kills.

Moving on to game five, Bjergsen’s performance as Ekko fell short, eventually adding to the team’s loss. Their ADC Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup as Aphelios had carried the team through the 27-minute game, but even that wasn’t enough to make up for the team’s overall performance. In the end, FlyQuest earned their final victory, showing off 3 Drakes, a ten thousand gold difference, and 11 towers.

Semi-Finals

Unfortunately, this marked the end of TSM’s presence in the LCS Spring season. The superstar team fought their best, but there’s still plenty of opportunity to improve their games.

FlyQuest, on the other hand, will now play against Evil Geniuses next Saturday. The last time these teams faced each other, Evil Geniuses won 3 – 1 against FlyQuest. The upcoming game will determine who will face off against Cloud9, the top team of the season.
