The first-person video seemingly named “Terror in Demacia” follows two Demacian soldiers on watch duty as they quietly talk amongst themselves. As one of them mentions how on edge the country’s been since the Fossbarrow terror, a strange noise interrupts them. One of the soldiers then gets up to investigate and suddenly vanishes. His partner then panics and walks further out into the woods, only to discover terror.

In the hazy fog among the dark trees, Fiddlesticks stands with his arms out, holding a swinging lamp. “Help me!” his voice calls out. As a plethora of crows flies away from him, his red eye glows and he assumes a spider-like position. As he crawls toward the viewer, he lets out a haunting screech.

The video ends with the League of Legends logo and a short clip at the end showing a fallen piece of armor on the ground.

Sneak peek of the new scarecrow

This teaser is one step towards the Fiddlesticks update Riot has been teasing for months. In the first half hour of the video being released, it had already gained over 17,000 likes on Twitter. Additionally, G2 Esports’ Jungler Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski commented on the post, stating he’ll be having fun terrorizing his enemies with the champion.

Overall, the feedback in the comments section includes fans sharing their terror with one another.

At the moment, there is no set date for the release of Fiddlesticks. Fans are being kept at the edge of their seat as Riot continues to post teasers throughout its social media pages. Daily Esports will keep readers updated as more information on his rework become available.
