FaZe Clan announced that Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer will return to the team’s starting lineup ahead of the BLAST Premier Spring Final. The Swedish player will replace the recently benched rifler Marcelo “coldzera” David.
Olofmeister signed for FaZe in 2017 and has been in and out of the starting lineup for various reasons. He was moved to the bench in February of 2021 as FaZe signed in-game leader Finn “karrigan” Andersen.
Fans can see olofmiester on the starting roster once again in their matchup against Natus Vincere on June 16.

Olofmeister on FaZe through the years
The tenured Counter-Strike player has played the game professionally since around 2010. He rose to prominence on Fnatic, winning multiple Majors with the team. Then, he went to FaZe in 2017 and has since been in and out of the lineup. In 2018, he stepped down from the lineup multiple times for personal reasons. The year 2019 was more stable for the veteran; he was a constant feature in the starting lineup, even as the players around him changed. That year was also one of FaZe’s more successful seasons. While the team failed to bring home any Major titles, they placed high at those events with a smattering of top finishes at A-tier events.
In 2020, olofmeister stepped down from the active roster yet again. He returned by October as a stand-in to fill the gap left by Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, who was acquired by G2. The Swede returned to the bench in February of 2021 as FaZe signed karrigan once again. But, roster moves hit FaZe once more as coldzera moved to the bench on June 1. Now, two weeks later, olofmeister will return to the starting lineup of FaZe.
He's back.

According to comments made by Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken, the move may be more permanent than just the one event.
“We’re creating new things with him, and if it wasn’t permanent we wouldn’t be creating new things; we really believe in him,” Twistzz told Dot Esports.
