ex-Virtus.pro legends NEO and TaZ to form a new CSGO team

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Two ex-Virtus.pro veterans, Filip “NEO” Kubski and Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas, are to be officially reunited in a new project. Reported by HLTV, the two legends on the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) scene have come together to possibly make a new CSGO team. Granted the lack of a Polish powerhouse on the global scene, perhaps the two will reignite a lost flame.

NEO and TaZ to form a new team

The two were already somewhat reunited in December of last year. NEO came on board ARCY, a team led by TaZ, as roster troubles started to creep in. ARCY then disbanded in January due to a lack of funding and uncertainty down the line, leaving both veterans of the scene as free agents. The two share a deep history of playing with each other, most notably at Virtus.pro.

According to a press release, “a recruitment process is being conducted to establish cooperation with the most talented and promising players in the Polish CS:GO scene.” This hints at both players being part of the roster depending on how you choose to read it, despite that not being directly confirmed. Nevertheless, the duo is looking for “promising” players, most probably trying to attain young talent from the Polish CSGO scene.

NEO’s and TaZ’s old Virtus.pro teammate, JarosÅ‚aw “pashaBiceps” JarzÄ…bkowski, has started his own CSGO school (so to speak). In a collaboration with FACEIT, Pasha Gaming School is aimed at finding young talents on the Polish scene. The ex-pro has even attempted qualifications for WESG with a select few talents. Perhaps it is a good place to start there for the duo’s talent scouting.

As for now, there is no further information about the team name, sponsorship, or when the organization may start their operations.
