Rumors that were circulating in the days leading up to the start of the StarLadder Major in CSGOÂ have become true. ENCE have officially announced that they have completed the signing of Miikka “suNny” Kemppi. Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen will not be a part of the Finnish lineup following the team’s run at the Major. The StarLadder Major will be the last time that the 22-year-old will be present on the roster.
We are also announcing that Aleksi @AleksibCSGO Virolainen will not be a part of the active roster after the conclusion of the Major.
The team has digested the forthcoming changes well in advance, and have been fully focusing on the Major for the last two weeks.#EZ4ENCE pic.twitter.com/Fj2oPQGeLl

suNny returns to ENCE
Following a massive roster change at mousesports, suNny has ultimately been dropped from the international roster. Known for his flashy fragging ability, the Finn is making a grand return to ENCE, where he already played alongside Aleksi “allu” Jalli all the way back in 2013. He returned to the team in 2016 for a year before moving onto PENTA Sports. Now, suNny is returning to his homeland as he joins a fully stacked team that has proven itself as one of the best in the CSGO scene. That’s especially true following their impressive run at the Katowice Major at the beginning of the year.
Aleksib taken by surprise
Through a post on TwitLonger, Aleksib expressed his disappointment with the initial news of him being benched following the Major. However, he is proud of having been part of the rebuilt ENCE roster. The talented in-game leader is looking forward to taking his strengths to another team and has expressed his eagerness to play in an international lineup. Surely, with all his achievements at ENCE, he will have little trouble finding a cozy home soon enough. For now, he should focus on giving it his best at the StarLadder Major in order for all eyes to focus on him.

The announcement came on the opening day of the Challenger stage of the Berlin Major. It’s a strange time to find out that a player will be benched and replaced after the event, to be sure. Nevertheless, it is unknown who will take the reigns of the in-game leader from Aleksib. The most likely candidate is allu, as his experience is insurmountable compared to the remaining teammates. Hopefully, signing suNny was the correct decision by the ENCE team.
