Don’t Lose Your Mind quest guide | Cyberpunk 2077 Walkthroughs

Unlike other RPGs on the market, Cyberpunk 2077 features an intricate side quest system that places an emphasis on decision-making. Just like in the main story, most side quests will come with choices that affect the ending. This is extremely prevalent in the Cyberpunk 2077 side quest called ‘Don’t Lose Your Mind.’ Given to you by Delamain, the A.I. robot with the cab business, this can be a tough quest to complete. Also, it features a pretty significant choice that does have an impact on the game. Today, we’ll go over Don’t Lose Your Mind and make sure you know how to complete it.

To start, you’ll need to have finished the quest ‘Epistrophy’ before you can access this particular side quest. However, Epistrophy only involves chasing down Delamain’s rogue cabs all across Night City, so it’s nothing too challenging.

Once you finish that quest, you’ll receive a call from Delamain a couple of days later. The call won’t be too coherent, but the A.I. robot will state that he needs help at the company’s headquarters.

Upon entering the Delamain building, you’ll notice that the double doors are broken and not allowing you through. To get into the building, head around to the right side of the building and find a door. To open this door, you’ll need an Intelligence level of 8. If you don’t have that level, keep walking until you find some crates to climb.

Once you’re through the door, hack into the computer (requires Intelligence level 8). After that, keep following the yellow quest markers on your map until you reach the area with the electrical wires. To get past this hazard, you can do what we did and use the Reinforced Tendons Cyberware upgrade to double-jump across the floor to the stairs.

However, if you don’t have that upgrade, look to the left and you will see a door. Head through it and make your way up to the catwalk and out to the room with the electrical wires.

Eventually, you’ll find yourself next to a cab that you can push. Push it, and underneath you will find a hatch that you can now open. Jump down the hatch and keep walking until you find a yellow ladder. Climb up it and walk along the catwalk until you reach the office with all of the computers.

What choice do you make with Delamain?

Once you reach the computer room, you’ll be prompted to go to Delamain’s core. The decision before you is to either destroy the core and set Delamain’s rogue “children” free or restart the core, resetting Delamain entirely. Also, you can choose to merge Delamain’s personalities, but this takes an Intelligence level of 10.

Johnny Silverhand is partial to either destroying the core or merging the personalities. If you choose to destroy it, the A.I. children will be set free and ‘Excelsior’ will take the original Delamain’s place, leaving you with a new car.

If you want to merge the personalities, the A.I. children will leave Night City and also leave you a car. Finally, choosing to reset the core will eliminate Delamain’s rogue A.I. Johnny won’t like this, but it will still leave you with a new car. There isn’t a bad decision here, so it’s up to you which one you want to choose.
