Do Double XP Tokens from MW2 carry forward to MW3?

Double XP Tokens are one of the most valuable items you can have in your possession at the start of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Whether it’s a Double XP or Double Weapon XP Token, either is extremely nice to have so you can unlock new items quicker.

However, since it’s the start of a new game, you might be thinking you have no way of getting any Double XP Tokens (unless you participated in promotions). You might also think that your Double XP Tokens from MW2 can be used in MW3 since the games are so similar.

Do Double XP Tokens in MW2 transfer to MW3?

Fortunately for all of you who have saved up Double XP Tokens in MW2, you can use all of them on your account in MW3. This is provided that you are using the same account you used in MW2 to play MW3.

If you are, then you should have every single Double XP Token available to you when you start up MW3 multiplayer. This includes the level tokens, weapon tokens, and Battle Pass tokens. You can access all of your tokens directly from the main lobby screen in right underneath the challenges menu. Just click on the Double XP tab here and you should see all of your available tokens.

It’s also important to remember any Double XP Tokens you earn going forward in MW3 will appear here as well. This includes all of the tokens from the Season 6 Battle Pass (which you can still progress through in MW3) and any promotion tokens you redeem.
