After much drama involved in the Leena Xu situation, Dignitas has acquired TSM jungler Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett. The League of Legends team welcomed him as they move forward for the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) 2020 Summer Split.
Dardoch will now replace Dignitas’ current jungler, Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham, who was also previously a part of TSM. In April of the off-season, Dignitas’ other jungler, Jonathan “Grig” Armao, left the team. Although the team has struggled a bit this year, their newest addition might help them for the upcoming season.

Dignitas makes an offer
Dardoch joined TSM last November, making his time in the team a short one. He played with the team throughout this year’s Spring Split, although the outcome wasn’t what they had hoped for. Overall, fans are ecstatic over Dignitas’ newest acquisition.
After a phone call by TSM President Leena Xu earlier this month captured in the background of Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng’s stream, no one knew what would become of Dardoch’s career in esports. In the phone call, Xu was heard stating that no one wanted to take Dardoch, potentially hurting Dardoch’s future offers by lowering his value in the market. Shortly after, Leena apologized to Dardoch through a public statement, though she still received plenty of backlash because of it.
Thank you @Dardoch for the hard work and passion you brought to the team during your time with us. We wish you the best for the future. pic.twitter.com/50g0XiPcvH

Throughout it all, Dardoch remained silent about the entire situation. It has been a rough season for TSM so far, and this issue did not make it any better. In the end, Dardoch found a good team to be a part of. Although Dignitas came in seventh for the 2020 Spring Split, they may have a chance to bounce back for the summer.
Dardoch has not reached anywhere near the top since being with Echo Fox in 2018 for their NA Regional Finals, at which time they placed third. Hopefully, he can soon prove to everyone that his value in the scene is still high.
