Fortnite Season 8 is rapidly coming to a close, as the Week 8 Battle Pass challenges are already here. In the v8.40 update files, dataminer @lucas7yoshi_ was able to find the Week 8 challenges. Of course, these are just leaks and subject to change if Epic Games so desires.
While recent weeks have been fairly easygoing when it comes to challenges, Epic put their foot on the gas pedal this week. There are several tasks in this batch that can give players fits. From searching the island for Jigsaw pieces to some difficult elimination challenges, Week 8 will be no breeze.
Remember, you need every challenge up to this point completed if you want to unlock the Ruin Discovery skin. Make sure to check out our previous challenge guides if you’re behind!

In these leaks, one challenge has already been discovered by players:
- Stage 1: Dial the Durrr Burger number on the big telephone west of Fatal Fields – 2 Battle Stars
- Stage 2: Dial the Pizza Pit number on the big telephone east of The Block – 3 Battle Stars
Perhaps one of the easier tasks this week, provided there isn’t an onrush of enemies, is this stage challenge. All this calls for is players to dial a number on an old-fashioned telephone in two different locations.
So, where are these two locations?
Durr Burger location
The famous Greasy Grove Durr Burger makes yet another appearance in Fortnite. Although, this time it’s in the form of a telephone. You can find him sitting on top of a mountain in the snow biome, east of Polar Peak and Frosty Flights.
Once here, simply look at the phone number on the dial and hit each number in order with your pickaxe. After you’ve done this, stage 1 is complete!
Pizza Pit location
Stage 2 of this challenge requires you to head on over to the northern part of the map. Here, east of the Block, you can find another telephone, this time in the form of a pizza.
The same concept applies here as it did with the Durr Burger. Simply enter the number shown on the phone and this challenge is done!
