Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is just around the corner and Ubisoft will be kicking off the Private Beta starting on Feb 7. The beta will run through Feb 11. Be sure to check the schedule below for a more specific time for your part of the world. Remember, you can secure your chance to be a part of the Private Beta by pre-ordering a copy of the game at any participating retailer. The pre-order should come with a code that will enable you to register for the beta.

What can we expect?

So, now the question is: what can we expect from the Private Beta? Just how much of wartorn D.C. are we going to be able to see? In an official press release from Ubisoft, the publisher stated that players will be able to venture into Washington D.C. from their established Base of Operations in the White House. The beta’s level cap will be 7 which is enough for players to unlock some new skills and abilities. The map will primarily focus on the eastern portion of the Washington D.C. and feature two story missions available in normal or hard difficulties, five side missions, and access to one of the Dark Zones for PvP play as well as one of the organized PvP modes called Skirmish. We covered the details of thes Dark Zone and other PVP sections previously when covering a detailed trailer for the game released earlier this month.

Endgame content

Aside from all of this, the Private Beta is providing something a bit different from the standard multiplayer beta jaunt for loot shooters. We’re also going to get a taste of the endgame content for The Division 2. At this point, players will be bumped to a level cap of 30 and be capable of unlocking Survivalist, Sharpshooter, or Demolitionist specializations. The endgame portion of the private beta begins on Feb 8 at 8 AM PT.

So, be sure to lock yourself into the private beta with your pre-order of the game so you can get a look at life in post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. And, stay tuned to Daily Esports for more coverage on The Division 2.
