The ESL Pro League is ESL's premier league for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and one of the most storied championship leagues in the game's history.
The best teams in the world compete over a season spanning across 10 weeks, culminating in an offline finals held in Montpellier at the Sud de France Arena in front of a live audience.
Format & Rules
Teams are seeded into two double elimination GSL-style groups of eight teams each (Seeding is based on the ESL CS:GO World Rankings). The initial round of matches are Best-of-Ones, and all subsequent matches are Best-of-Three. The top three teams from each group advance to the playoffs, with the group winners seeded directly into the semifinals, the runners-up into the quarterfinals as high seeds and the 3rd placed teams into the quarterfinals as low seeds.
Single elimination bracket. The quarter and semifinals are Best-of-Three and the grand finals are Best-of-Five.
