In an exclusive interview with ESPN, benched Made in Brazil (MIBR) star player Marcelo "coldzera" David stated that he already has four team offers. He continued by stating that he is still in the process of analyzing each offer to find the right choice. He will be waiting until after the StarLadder Major to make his decision because he may receive new proposals. Therefore, we can expect coldzera’s decision after September 8 and not before it.
The Brazilian superstar expressed his interest for a challenge back in July after a slew of poor results with the team. In the same month, coldzera was later officially benched by the organization.
Since then, coach Wilton “zews” Prado has been substituted in and has already played multiple events with the organization including IEM Chicago and BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles. Finally, zews will play for MIBR at the StarLadder Major. As for coldzera’s replacement, Dexerto journalist Dekay has reported that INTZ AWPer Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe is set to join the roster.

As he was benched and not released, this means that coldzera will have a buyout clause in his contract which teams have to meet in order to get the player. As coldzera is still an incredible talent, we can expect this clause to be high. Therefore, teams that can afford this high fee will be in the running.
There is speculation that coldzera may join FaZe Clan after the Major, removing veteran in-game leader Filip “NEO” Kubski. This may push star-rifler Nikola “NiKo” Kovač back into the in-game leader role. However, this is not confirmed. Another team that has been linked with the player is 100 Thieves, who recently announced that the organization will be returning to Counter-Strike.
