GamerLegion has released it’s in-game leader and CS:GO veteran Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans. In his statement, he noted “internal differences,” with individual players wanting a different direction.

"Big hard blow because as you can imagine, I put so much energy to first create the team from zero and then setting up the foundations in-game/out of the game," Ex6TenZ wrote. "But it is how it is!”

On July 4, GamerLegion posted an official statement regarding the roster change to Twitter. The organization also cite internal differences as the reason for the change. Ex6TenZ's will be placed on the substitute bench for the time being.

This GamerLegion CS:GO roster was established on March 29 after the team played under Uruguay3. The original roster consisted of young rifler Hampus “hampus” Poser, ex-OpTic Gaming player Kevin “HS” Tarn, famous rifler Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, AWPer Tim “nawwk” Jonasson and, Ex6TenZ.

CS:GO journalist neL reported that ex-Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) player Dennis “dennis” Edman will be joining the roster to replace Ex6TenZ. On July 5, GamerLegion officially announced Dennis' acquisition.

In an official announcement on June 19, Dennis was moved to the substitute bench on NiP and replaced by 17-year old rifler Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora. NiP have struggled with a slew of inconsistent placements, finishing top eight at the ECS Season 7 finals and top twelve at DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019.

On the other hand, GamerLegion have had some good results online, winning LOOT.BET Season 2 and finishing second in the Moche XL Esports 2019. However, the team failed to qualify for the Starladder Major 2019 after they finished 13-16th in a closed qualifier.

GamerLegion's current roster is as follows:

  • ScreaM
  • hampus
  • HS
  • nawwk
  • dennis

Fans of GamerLegion will not have to wait long to see their new team in action, as they will take part in the Good Game League 2019 from July 13-14. Moreover, GamerLegion will compete in the ESEA Mountain Dew League Europe from September 2-December 15.
