Astralis and compLexity have eliminated NiP and MIBR at the ECS Season 7 Finals.

With Astralis having won the last nine of the last ten meetings, just getting a map was set to be a struggle for the Swedes.

On neither Inferno or Overpass did NiP look strong enough to take down Astralis, failing to even get map double digits, losing 5-16 and 6-16 respectively.

Astralis’ win was the perfect gift for IGL Lucas "gla1ve" Rossander's birthday, who received a classic British Colin the Caterpillar cake on-stream after the win.

While the analysts and odds were stacked against coL, 15-year-old Owen “oBo” Schlatter was not phased and started the first map with a pistol ace.

A nine round head-start followed, until MIBR slowed the momentum in the tenth round, but the Brazilian squad could only pull together three rounds on CT side on their own map pick, before falling 4-16 to the underdogs.

Despite a comeback and a win on Vertigo, MIBR were eliminated by coL in a narrow 16-14 game of Mirage.

CompLexity arrived in London with a week’s practice with latest signing oBo and managed to upset a former ECS champion and will join Astralis in the decider matches against FURIA and Vitality respectively to determine who will make the playoffs this weekend.
