Sharks and INTZ have qualified for the Americas Minor in Berlin next month for the StarLadder Major.

The South America Closed Qualifier saw a majority of Brazilian squads competing for two spots at the Americas Minor, which takes place in Berlin on 17th July with another two spots there taking teams into the New Challenger Stage, formerly the Main Qualifier, of the StarLadder Major.

Sharks won the first spot yesterday over Isurus 2-1, the first maps lost for the Argentinians in the qualifier, knocking them down into the lower bracket to face INTZ, who Sharks had also put into the lower bracket in the previous semi-final.

INTZ ended Isurus’ journey at the final hurdle with a dominant 2-0 display as Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe led the way for the Brazilian roster, pulling off an incredible performance on DustII with a 1.45 rating with teammates, Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes and Alexandre “xand” Zizi posting ratings of 1.35 and 1.33 respectively on the map.

Six North American teams will join Sharks and INTZ in Berlin following the conclusion of the North American Closed Qualifier from 12th-14th June, featuring the likes of NRG, Cloud9 and Mythic.

Three other Brazilian teams, FURIA, TeamOne and Luminosity, will be participating in the NA qualifier due to the players being based in and usually playing from America.
