G2 Esports were able to destroy the competition and advance to the playoffs of DreamHack Tours after taking out Ghost and French Frogs in one-sided matches.

The French favorites started off against Ghost, and after a slow start, they proved their status as the group favorite. Kenny “kennyS” Schrub helped G2 simply take over the series after stumbling on the first map, Dust 2.

In their second match, it was Richard “shox” Papillion’s turn to bring the pain. G2’s in-game leader found numerous AWP kills to lead his team to a simple 2-0 victory over French Frogs. This included an unheard of 14 terrorist side rounds on Nuke, the most counter-terrorist favored map in the game.

The other matches of the day saw Mousesports advance to the playoffs over Windigo in yet another one-sided series. Mousesports’ Finn "karrigan" Andersen was the star of this series, using his extensive experience to outsmart his opponents and secure key rounds for his team.
