Former Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) mid laner Lee “Crown” Min-ho has joined League of Legends South Korean Challenger team OZ Gaming. The news comes from an official Twitter announcement posted by the team as they welcome their newest member.
Crown recently left CLG due to poor performance at the beginning of the 2020 LCS Spring Split. As many CLG fans complained about Crown’s lack of good results, others say he didn’t receive much support from the team. As CLG parted ways with the mid laner, they replaced him with superstar player Eugene “Pobelter” Park. Eventually, CLG started doing much better mid-season.
Hello, I'm Crown. I'm going back to Korea today after being removed from CLG. Thank you all for anyone who cheered for me at LCS and at home. NA life has been long and short but I'm thankful for good and various memories and experience. Sorry for my bad performance at the end.

After Crown left North America, his plan was to return to South Korea and develop the rest of his career there. Eventually, he decided to join the second-division Korean team OZ Gaming.
The team of Challengers is currently placed at the bottom tier of Challengers Korea Spring Season. Hopefully with their new addition of Crown, they are able to move up from their 1 win 6 loss record. The tournament is composed of 8 teams, with best-of-3 round robins. If they miraculously do well, OZ Gaming may have a chance of qualifying for the LCK Summer Promotion Tournament.
Turning it around for OZ Gaming
OZ Gaming’s coach Jae-hwan Kwon shared his thoughts on Crown joining the team, saying that he expects Crown’s rich experience and strong desire to win to have a positive impact.
Followers and fans are excited to see this player be a part of another team this season. OZ Gaming has an opportunity to make a comeback with their new mid laner. If Crown’s addition really does make a difference, then he may continue to stay in his home country rather than join another NA team in the future.
Crown will play his first game on March 27 against team Element Mystic.
