Croatian esports organization CR4ZY has agreed to sell its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster to an undisclosed North American team, according to a report by HLTV. No further information has been stated regarding whether the organization, formerly known as Valiance & Co, will field another roster within the CSGO scene.
However, tweets from the CR4ZY account have mentioned an “even crazier” 2020, which could mean an upgrade in players.
CR4ZY CSGO in 2020
The current CR4ZY roster consists of players Nestor “LETN1” Tanić, Rokas “EspiranTo” Milasauskas, Otto “ottoNd” Sihvo, Luka “emi” Vuković, and Georgi “SHiPZ” Grigorov. Neil “NeiL_M” Murphy joined in October as the coach after emi moved from the coaching staff to the active roster. The team became well known after its performance at the StarLadder Berlin Major, where it narrowly missed advancing to the Playoffs.
The CR4ZY roster achieved a lot in the past year. This was even after Berlin-based organization G2 Esports acquired Nemanja “nexa” Isaković and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač shortly after the results of the Berlin Major.
With its current lineup, the team went on to take first at DreamHack Open Rotterdam, along with 3 – 4th at DreamHack Open Atlanta and DreamHack Open Winter. They then ended off 2019 with a 2nd place finish at DreamHack Open Sevilla, following a defeat by North.
ESL One Rio Major
The CR4ZY roster is ranked #19 in the world and has a spot at the upcoming ESL One Rio Major on May 11, where 24 teams will clash for a $1 million prize pool and spots to the next Major championship. Other notable competitors include Astralis, mousesports, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, and 100 Thieves.
The lineup is also currently competing in Season 33 of ESEA’s Premier Division for the European region. Where do you think this roster will end up next? Let us know about your opinion, and keep up with Daily Esports for all of your CSGO coverage.
