Big Reveals
Leyline of the Void: This all-important piece of graveyard hate is a warmly welcomed reprint for any and all Modern players. In Standard, it’s also sure to do plenty of work, so this is a great addition to the set!
Kaalia, Zenith Seeker: A returning character beloved by many Commander enthusiasts, Kaalia’s new card sticks true to her Demon-Angel-Dragon theme.
Additional Core Set 2020 cards
As usual, not every card got its own article. Today was a whole lot less full of new cards than yesterday, so check them all out below!
Of the above, there are a couple that merit a little more talking about. First off, Golos, Tireless Pilgrim is a slam dunk for Commander/EDH players. Notably, Golos can grab any land with no restrictions. This means Dark Depths players can have a 5 mana tutor sitting in their Command Zone all game. In addition to that, his last ability has a huge value. Though it likely won’t go off all that much considering its crazy casting cost, it does allow Golos to be the Commander for any color deck.
Secondly, we got another Leyline reprint for Core Set 2020! We saw Leyline of the Void late last night and Leyline of Sanctity yesterday. Now, we get the blue member of the cycle. Leyline of Anticipation is sure to be used alongside Vivien, Champion of the Wilds or Teferi, Time Raveler for a deck that operates at instant speed.
Stay Tuned!
