Complexity adds n0thing and rickeh to CSGO roster

It looks like Complexity Gaming is making some big changes to their roster ahead of IEM Katowice. The North American organization is adding Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert and Ricardo “Rickeh” Mulholland to their CSGO lineup.

This news comes a bit more than a week after Complexity would bench Bradley “ANDROID” Fodor and Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker. Also, this marks the departures of two of Complexity’s longest-tenured members. ANDROID was on the team since 2016, and Yay was with the team back in July of last year. Additionally, this marks the return of n0thing onto a true top-tier organization, which should be interesting and exciting for all his fans.

A Prolonged Break for n0thing

Although we have seen n0thing play out some stints on teams like Mousesports and the Old Guys Club, he is most known for his time on Cloud9. The veteran rifler and analyst spent three years with the storied organization, before getting benched alongside fellow teammate Michael “shroud” Grzesiek. Their benching saw them replaced by Will “RUSH” Wierzba and Tarik “tarik” Celik. That Cloud9 roster would go on to win North America’s first Major ever, at the 2018 Boston Major in January.

After getting sent to the bench, both n0thing and Shroud would take to Twitch and start streaming careers. Many gaming fans now know Shroud as one of the most popular streamers on the Twitch.tv platform. However, n0thing would remain active in the CSGO community, casting North American events and even teaching CSGO at a high level. He would dabble in professional play all the while, first joining Mousesports as a stand-in at ESL One Belo Horizonte. Mousesports would actually reach the Grand Finals in that event, before falling to FaZe Clan.

He would also play in a few minor events with Old Guys Club, a team of veteran players like Sean Gares, Shroud and Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham. He now returns to the big stage in a big way, representing Complexity Gaming at the IEM Katowice Major next year. However, the team also says that n0thing is only joining for a limited time.

The new-look Complexity roster

Alongside n0thing, joining the team will be Australian in-game leader, Ricky “Rickeh” Mulholland. He has hopped around a few North American teams such as Counter Logic Gaming and Rogue. The rest of the Complexity core will be staying the same, with Rory dephh Jackson, Shahzeeb “ShahZaM” Khan, and team leader Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz. They are hoping that the knowledgeable presence of n0thing will be able to elevate Complexity’s game.

Complexity actually had an impressive run at the recent London Major, going 3-1 in the New Challengers stage, and going undefeated in the New Legends stage. They were able to take down some good teams, like Fnatic, BIG Clan, and G2 Esports. Unfortunately, they would bounce out of the tournament in the quarterfinals after an 0-2 loss to MIBR.

Now, if we look at the subtractions the team made, ANDROID may have been a big hit to their lineup. He was a huge contributor during their miracle run at the Major, but hopefully, Complexity can count on n0thing and Rickeh for more support in the firepower department.
