FaZe Clan has been synonymous with Call of Duty since its beginning as a trickshot Clan. The team entered the Call of Duty pro circuit by sponsoring some of Anthony "NAMELESS" Wheeler teams during the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 season. However, FaZe Clan’s first official team consisted of Garrett "Heist" Mercure, Freddy "Folsom" Gerard, “Secretly”, and “Sham”. This team would compete at the MLG Winter Championships 2013 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Since then, FaZe Clan has won numerous events throughout each game, winning eight major LANs including the CWL Pro League 2018 Stage 1 Playoffs and the CWL Pro League 2018 Stage 1.
FaZe Clan has had relatively good success in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 with its current roster of Thomas "ZooMaa" Paparatto, McArthur "Cellium" Jovel, Obey "Asim" Asim, Matthew "Skrapz" Marshall, and Trei "Zer0" Morris. The team recently placed top four at CWL Anaheim 2019.
Moreover, it is now known that Hector “H3CZ” Rodriques may be planning a move into the Call of Duty. This was announced during the The Eavesdrop Podcast Ep. 35 (timestamp 52:00). “I don’t have my meetings till next week,” he said while on the topic.
While FaZe joining the Call of Duty League is still speculation, Upcomer will update this story as more information is available.
