Amid the Immortals Gaming Club acquisition of OpTic Gaming’s parent company, Infinite Esports & Entertainment, Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez could be teasing a future partnership with entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk. This is significant because Vaynerchuk and WISE Ventures recently secured the Minnesota Call of Duty League spot.
H3CZ is still the CEO of OpTic Gaming. However, joining Vaynerchuk may give him the opportunity to compete against his former team, which secured the Los Angeles slot.
The speculation began when Vaynerchuk complimented H3CZ on social media.
OpTic's Call of Duty players have voiced their feelings about H3CZ's following the acquisition of it’s parent company, though the details of his role are not public. The team has sided with H3CZ, with players like Ian “Crimsix” Porter putting “Hector’s OpTic” in his Twitter bio.
It seems H3CZ might announce his next steps in the esports industry with the release of “CROSSROADS II," a Vision-esque documentary. The release date has not yet been made public.
Nonetheless, OpTic Gaming will be participating in the upcoming Call of Duty World League Playoffs from July 19-21.
