Call of Duty: Mobile season 9, titled Conquest, has launched and brought mass changes to the game. This new season theme is World War II, even bringing over a map from Call of Duty: WWII. The biggest part of this update includes bringing Gunsmith to mobile. This allows players to customize weapons for multiplayer and battle royale modes by playing the game to unlock attachments.

Also, Activision now allows 10 loadout slots versus the previous five for even more customization for weapons. Additionally, new locations called Radar Base, Dormitory, Outpost, and Camp have been added to the battle royale map.

How Gunsmith changes Call of Duty: Mobile

If you are new to Call of Duty and have never experienced Gunsmith, what it allows is changing of the optics, laser, muzzle, barrel, underbarrel, ammunition, rear grip, stock, and perk for any primary weapon or pistol. However, only five attachments can be on a single weapon at one time. The close-quarter map Shipment 44, from Call of Duty: WWII, is also now in the game as a new multiplayer map.

This update also adds new maps and modes. Team Deathmatch and Domination will have 10 versus 10 multiplayer this season, which should make these modes more fast-paced. More players will also allow for more killstreaks, which is why a new scorestreak has been added. This new scorestreak is a Shield Turret which allows players to rapidly take down other players while also shielding themselves. Based on clips from the Call of Duty Twitter, this scorestreak is very overpowered and should allow for you to grind out even more kills.

Season 9 Battle Pass

Finally, the new Battle Pass is here. New characters include Lev Kravchenko, in his Soviet Dragon uniform, Reznov, Nikto, and Edward Richtofen. Battle Pass owners will also be able to unlock five new gun skins and a new sniper. At tier 21 of the battle pass, they unlock the brand new Kilo Bolt-Action sniper rifle.

So start grinding and let us know what you think of this new sniper in the comments below.
