This marks the first car patron for a BLAST Pro Series event. It will also serve as the first car brand in the Commonwealth of Independent States esports scene.
Currently, there are 5 teams confirmed to participate in the Moscow event. This includes ENCE, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, MiBR, and Team Vitality. The closed CIS qualifiers, which take place between August 10 and 11, will determine the sixth team. These qualifiers will also feature the Toyota branding.
“We are delighted to welcome Toyota as one of [the] key patrons of BLAST Pro Series Moscow and the first ever car patron for BLAST,” wrote Leo Matlock, the Head of Commercial Solutions at BLAST Pro Series in a release. “We aspire to reach new markets and grow the esports ecosystem with world class competitive entertainment, and being able to announce such a prestigious partner in our first tournament in Moscow – in what will be one of the biggest esports tournaments ever held in Russia – is a great showcase of the global appeal of BLAST Pro Series.”
