As expected, there is a myriad of bugs within Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War a few days into release. Every Call of Duty title sees its fair share of issues after launch, and this year is no different. Among the known bugs in the game is a Calling Card glitch, camo progression resets, and a Leaderboard crashing problem. It seems that whenever some players try to view their stats in the Leaderboards tab, their game crashes immediately. Obviously, this is a big issue, but some fans have found a workaround to view their stats.
The Leaderboard bug in Black Ops Cold War
Leaderboards always seem to be at the center of attention whenever a new Call of Duty releases. Back in 2016, Infinite Warfare didn’t even have the feature until months into the game’s life cycle, which was quite the controversy.
Conversely, Black Ops Cold War‘s version of Leaderboards is present at launch but is severely flawed. Not only is the feature causing crashes, but the stats aren’t updating whenever players actually get the chance to look.

Treyarch is presumably working on a fix for this issue and the others mentioned previously in this article. However, if you’re trying to look at your global rank in Black Ops Cold War right now, you can use a couple of different methods. You can use the COD Companion App, which you can download on any mobile device. This allows you to in-depth stats for your account.
The second method is going to CODTracker and viewing your stats there. This website shows your global rank in regards to K/D, SPM, etc. While neither is a perfect solution, it’s all players have until Treyarch fixes the Leaderboards.
