Best XRK Stalker loadout in MW3

The XRK Stalker is one of the three new weapons that arrived in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 update, joining the RAM-7 and Stormender. While the XRK Stalker is an average sniper by default, you can equip quite a powerful loadout for it in MW3 that takes it to a whole new level.

What makes the XRK Stalker so enticing to many players is it’s a jack-of-all-trades sniper, meaning that it can either be a close or long-range threat depending on how you build it. The sniper has strong enough damage and mobility that it can be used as a quickscoping gun or one designed for long-range gunfights. My loadout for the XRK Stalker will focus more on the quickscoping element, as I feel the sniper has enough damage to one-shot enemies on most of the maps in MW3 regardless of its attachments.

• Barrel: Fission 60 Barrel
• Stock: Helix LV Light Stock
• Bolt: XRK Stalker Light Bolt
• Rear Grip: XRK Stalker Factory Grip
• Ammunition: .50 Cal High Grain Rounds

The loadout begins with the Fission 60 Barrel, which improves your bullet velocity and damage range slightly while not decreasing mobility by a large amount. I also have the .50 Cal High Grain Rounds to further boost damage range. The rest of the loadout is focused on mobility, with the XRK Stalker Factory Grip and Helix LV Light Stock improving aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time.

Finally, the XRK Stalker Light Bolt improves your rechambering speed, allowing to you get shots off quicker. This comes at the cost of rechambering accuracy, though, so you’ll have to remember to stay on target in between shots.
