The TYR wreaked havoc on the Call of Duty: Warzone community during the month of December, but a recent nerf has caused every player to entirely rethink their loadout for the magnum-style pistol.
To see the best loadout for the TYR in Warzone, keep reading my guide below.
Best TYR loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle: L4R Flash Hider
- Barrel: CIU-16 Heavy Long Barrel
- Trigger Action: ULLR’s Fury
- Rear Grip: Akimbo TYR
Obviously, the glaring issue with this loadout is that it doesn’t have the Snake Shot Rounds equipped in the ammunition slot. At the time of writing, the developers have still not put the ammunition back into Warzone, so we’re forced to go without them until they return. The rest of the loadout is the exact same, however, so you can still deal some moderately high damage with the TYR in close range.

I have the Akimbo TYR for extra firepower as well as the ZIU-16 Heavy Long Barrel for more damage range. The ULLR’s Fury trigger action boosts our fire rate while the XTEN Sidearm-L 400 boosts hipfire accuracy and spread, which is crucial when running an akimbo weapon. Finally, the L4R Flash Hider helps with recoil control as well as conceals muzzle flash.
Best Class Setup for the TYR in Warzone
Now, I have filled out the rest of your class for the TYR, with the assumption that you’ll be using a long-range weapon as your primary and the TYR as a secondary.
Primary Weapon
- MTZ Interceptor, RAM-7, Pulemyot 762, BAS-B, or anything comparable
Perks
- Perk 1: Double Time
- Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
- Perk 3: Tempered
- Perk 4: Resolute
Equipment
- Lethal: Throwing Knife
- Tactical: Stim
And that does it for the best TYR loadout in Warzone. While it’s not nearly as strong without the Snake Shot Rounds, the TYR can still be a reliable option at close range.
