The MTZ 556 is currently on the outskirts of the meta in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone. However, with the right attachments on its loadout, the MTZ 556 can become one of the stronger assault rifles in Warzone and even start competing with the likes of the BAS-B at long-range.

• Barrel: MTZ Clinch Pro Barrel
• Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
• Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
• Magazine: 50 Round Drum

Since the MTZ 556 has such strong mobility by default, we can comfortably use attachments that lower mobility stats in exchange for increasing more pertinent stats, such as recoil control and damage range. These stats are increased right off the bat with the VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor and the MTZ Clinch Pro Barrel, which also boost bullet velocity as well. Then, the Bruen Heavy Support Grip takes it a step further, eliminating most of the recoil and gun kick you normally see with the MTZ 556. Even with these attachments equipped, your mobility will still be high.

The Corio Eagleseye 2.5x optic is the current meta pick for long-range weapons in Warzone, but you’re free to swap that out with something else if you prefer.
