Best FR 5.56 loadout in Warzone Season 1

The second best burst-gun in Season 1

Currently in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone, the DG-56 is the king of the assault rifle class, featuring strong stats across the board. However, there’s another burst-fire rifle that is also quite strong and warrants some attention. The FR 5.56 might not be as strong as the DG-56 in Warzone, but with the right loadout, you can create some serious competition between the two guns.

Best FR 5.56 loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor
  • Barrel: 600mm FR Longbore
  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Magazine: 60 Round Mag

This loadout uses nearly all of the current meta attachments in Season 1 of Warzone. While this might seem a little boring, these attachments work terrific together, giving you a much improved version of the FR 5.56

The loadout begins with the VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor and 600mm FR Longbore barrel, both of which increase damage range and bullet velocity and gives a slight boost to recoil control. You really see an improvement in recoil control with the Bruen Heavy Support Grip, though, so equipping that should eliminate most gun kick when firing the FR 5.56.

The last two attachments are extremely standard for a long-range weapon in Warzone. First, I have the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x optic equipped, which is the meta pick for long-range guns in Season 1. You can swap this optic out for something else, but I suggest keeping the sight within a 2.5x-4.0x zoom. Finally, the 60 Round Mag is in place to prevent any inconvenient reloading or swapping to a secondary.
