Earlier this week, a plethora of leaks came through for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II via Warzone Mobile game files. With the battle royale set to release on mobile, dataminers are finding ways to get into the files of the game. For whatever reason, there appear to be vast amounts of information and code strings regarding Modern Warfare II; due to this oversight, dataminers have been able to fine new information about the game and are releasing their findings on social media. One recent discovery is what looks like Modern Warfare II’s perks list, which was leaked earlier this week.

The perks are always a topic of discussion in the community whenever a new Call of Duty title is set to launch. Perks are the backbone of the loadout system, allowing players to completely change their play style based on what they pick. The perk system has evolved over the years but recent leaks indicate players will be able to select four perks per class in MWII.

While that remains to be officially confirmed, fans can look at the apparent full perk list below.

Modern Warfare 2019 fans will recognize the first 17 perks on this list extremely well — all of them are returning perks from Modern Warfare. However, the last five are brand new and, at this time, we don’t have a description of what they could do. There was also a string of code called “Overwatch,” which some insiders believe to be the name of the Specialist Perk system in MWII. The Specialist system replaces killstreaks with perks and if players go on a long enough streak, they will earn every perk in the game. This was a feature in Modern Warfare 2019, and it looks like it will return in MWII.

Of course, fans should take this information with a grain of salt; just because data miners found the code in certain game files, it doesn’t mean this information is 100% fact. We’ll likely have to wait until the full launch of Modern Warfare II on Oct. 28 to fully confirm every perk in multiplayer.
