All Operators in Modern Warfare 3 and how to unlock them

Every playable Operator for multiplayer

As we get closer to the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision has begun to reveal more and more content to the community. One piece of content the developers unveiled today is the complete lineup of Operators coming to Modern Warfare 3.

Operators have become a big part of the multiplayer experience in Call of Duty. Whether you earn them from a Store bundle, the Battle Pass, or through completing a challenge, your current choice of Operator determines how enemies and your teammates see you on the map. MW3 will offer the most available Operators in Call of Duty history, mostly in part thanks to the Modern Warfare 2 Operators coming with the game.

How to unlock all Operators in Modern Warfare 3

To be clear, this list is just for the new Operators appearing in MW3. This list will not include the 60+ Operators currently available in MW2. However, any Operator you have unlocked in MW2 is available to play as in either multiplayer or battle royale.

In total, there are 25 new Operators in MW3. Below, I have listed all of their names and how to unlock them. As a note, some of the Operators are unlocked through specific challenges, but we don’t know what those challenges are at the time of writing.

To supplement that, I have just stated that you need to complete a challenge to unlock the Operator and will update this guide when more information on the challenges becomes available.

As you can see, many of the Operators are unlocked through different means. Most of them are unlocked via completing a challenge across either multiplayer, Zombies, or Campaign. Speaking of Campaign, you can see all of the Campaign rewards in MW3, which includes content you can use in multiplayer.

As MW3 progresses, new Operators will be added to the fold. Season 1 is sure to add several new Operators while fresh Store bundles also play a role in expanding the list. And, of course, you will also have access to every single Operator you unlocked over the course of MW2. This includes the base Operators, Battle Pass skins, Store bundles, and event skins as well.

Basically, if you can use it in MW2, then it will be available to use in MW3. I’m personally going to use the new Operator skins, but if you spent hard-earned money on a Store Bundle with a unique Operator skin in MW2, then you might feel inclined to use it in MW3 over one that you unlock at the start of the game.

You can view every single Operator, their Finishers, and all of their styles by going to the Operator menu in the MW3 main lobby.
