On Jan. 10 two new players of the roster were revealed who will be competing alongside Pawel “Woolite” Pruski in the Ultraliga: Nikolay “Zanzarah” Akatov and Patryk “Mystiques” Piórkowski. The Ultraliga is Poland’s biggest League of Legends competition to date, where teams compete in a similar format to that of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC).

Introducing the new jungler for AGO Rogue

Zanzarah has been a semi-professional jungler since November 2014. Throughout the years Zanzarah has competed on various international stages. Throughout the years he has competed with Vega Squadron in the CIS region and later with Origen BCN in the Superliga Orange in Spain. In addition, Zanzarah also competed in the LEC 2019 Regional Finals alongside the Origen LEC roster. This performance in the LEC regional finals made him the first Russian-born player to play in the scene since April 2016.

Mystiques to play alongside Woolite in the Ultraliga

Mystiques has been aiming to compete for a top team in Europe since November 2013. Throughout the years competing he has competed alongside a large number of prominent European teams. Back in 2017, he competed for the Pompa Team roster, a team that is regarded as one of the best Polish teams out there. Besides this, Mystiques has had two opportunities to compete alongside the Excel roster in the LEC in spring and summer of 2019. The team’s performance throughout the year, however, was severely disappointing with the team placing 9th and 10th in the league.

This year is shaping up to be better than ever before for Mystiques though. Last month, Mystiques, alongside his group of friends, competed in the Polska Liga Esportowa 2019 Finals and won the event. The group managed to upset five more established teams in the Polish scene to take the grand prize of zł20.000 or approximately €5000.
