Yesterday, the Season 1 content went live for Call of Duty: Vanguard. This includes the new Battle Pass, which contains weapons, perks and fresh Operators. There are also the two new maps, Paradise and Radar, to explore. Paradise is a completely new map in the franchise while Radar is a remake of the popular Modern Warfare 3 map, Dome. While Radar is certainly the more popular of the two, the map currently has a nasty spawn glitch plaguing its matches in Vanguard.
The glitch appeared within the first hour of players having access to public matches on the map. It essentially puts players into a glitched spot on the map after they respawn. There’s no way for players to move once they’re in this position, which means the only way out is to kill themselves or leave the match.
The Radar spawn glitch in Vanguard
This particular glitch seems to happen randomly, after players die while playing on Radar. During those unlucky instances, players will spawn into a glitched portion of the map, unable to move or see any enemies or teammates on the actual map. However, teammates can be trapped in the same glitch with players at the same time. A screenshot of what the glitch looks like is viewable below.
After players find themselves in this glitch, the only way out is to throw a grenade at their feet and hope it kills them. If it doesn’t, players will have no way out unless the game randomly decides to kill them. However, the most likely outcome is that players will have to leave the match.
Sledgehammer Games has yet to respond to reports surrounding this specific glitch. However, with a flurry of other issues currently on the docket, it might be some time before this glitch on Radar is patched in Vanguard.
