The company behind the Halo franchise, 343 Industries, has partnered with Valve to include an obtainable Halo capsule containing Halo-themed stickers in CSGO. Also, if a Steam user has The Master Chief Collection on Steam, they are likely to receive a special Music Kit to be in used in CSGO.
The Master Chief Collection stickers
The partnership brings an array of stickers to CSGO players after they purchase a Halo Sticker Capsule, purchasable in the Steam store. As always, one sticker capsule guarantees one sticker in paper, holo or foil rarity. Below are all the stickers obtainable from the Halo Sticker Capsule.
The collaboration is one of very few that Valve has done to bring a sticker collection to CSGO. Another collab that springs to mind is following the launch of CSGO in China, when Valve struck a deal with Perfect World to make the video game accessible in China. Perfect World sticker capsules 1 and then 2 were added to CSGO in commemoration of the big happening.
The Master Chief Collection Music Kit
In addition to the stickers, players can now also attain a special Music Kit to be used in CSGO. As the patch notes say, “Owners of The Master Chief Collection on Steam, after they accrue sufficient playtime in the game, will also receive The Master Chief Collection Music Kit.” In other words, the Music Kit is obtainable once one plays Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Steam for long enough. How long, however, has not been specified in the patch notes, unfortunately.
You can find the full patch notes on the official Counter-Strike: Global Offensive blog. The notes also include minor changes to Cache as well as some fixes for the new map, Studio.
