The best MTZ Interceptor loadout in Modern Warfare 3 beta

A solid weapon if you use it right

The marksman rifle class has easily been the least-used throughout the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta. This is usually the case, as the marksman rifles are a strange cross between a sniper and a battle rifle. However, if you decide to take the plunge into the class, I recommend starting with the MTZ Interceptor, which has a decent loadout in Modern Warfare 3.

The MTZ Interceptor is the marksman rifle version of the MTZ-556 assault rifle and the MTZ-762 battle rifle. It’s a semi-automatic weapon that can deliver a one-shot headshot kill or a two-shot kill with body shots. Of course, the main problem with the MTZ Interceptor, and any marksman rifle for that matter, is getting off shots before you are gunned by something with a faster fire rate. In order to get the most out of the MTZ Interceptor, you absolutely want to use its strongest set of attachments.

To see the best loadout for the MTZ Interceptor in Modern Warfare 3, check out the guide below.

Best MTZ Interceptor loadout in the Modern Warfare 3 beta

  • Barrel: MTZ Clinch Pro Barrel
  • Optic: MK.23 Reflector
  • Underbarrel: Kimura RYN-03 Vertical Grip
  • Magazine: 20 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: MTZ Aggressor Grip

This loadout has a couple of different purposes, with the primary one being to increase your overall recoil control. This allows you to hit your shots with more consistency, making it easier to take on enemies with a stronger assault rifle at longer ranges.

I have also equipped the 20 Round Mag to give you some breathing room when it comes to reloading and the MTZ Aggressor Grip to slightly improve mobility. Finally, the MK.23 Reflector is the best mid-range sight for a marksman rifle in MW3, but you can equip something with a higher zoom if you want to stay at farther distances.
