The best MCW loadout in Modern Warfare 3 beta

The best gun in MW3?

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta has just begun and players are starting to experience the new game in all of its glory. There are nearly 20 weapons for you to choose from during the course of your leveling in the beta, but the best loadout to use in Modern Warfare 3 is arguably the MCW assault rifle.

The MCW is a recreation of the classic ACR from past Modern Warfare titles and it absolutely shreds enemies in multiplayer. During my first few hours with the beta, I didn’t want to run anything else as other guns simply don’t compare to the MCW right now. However, when you throw on the best loadout of attachments for the MCW, it becomes even more of a monster in Modern Warfare 3.

To see the best loadout for the MCW in the Modern Warfare 3 beta, check out the guide below.

I went with a fairly balanced loadout for the MCW, as it’s already so good that it doesn’t really need to be buffed in any significant way. Instead, I added some attachments to make it stronger in every pertinent area.

Starting off, I equipped the HMRES Mod Suppressor, which keeps you off the radar and even adds some bullet velocity and range. Staying off the radar when firing is highly important in MW3, as your red dots will appear on the enemy’s map when using a non-silenced weapon. The suppressor is followed up by the Second Line Mammoth Heavy barrel to add more damage range and recoil control.

The RB Talon-X3 Grip adds more recoil control while the MCW Lancer Tactical Stock increases the rifle’s overall mobility. Finally, I added the 40 Round Mag, which is a useful attachment in MW3 given how many bullets it takes to kill a single enemy.

I’m sure the MCW’s loadout will change in the full version of Modern Warfare 3, but this is a solid set of attachments for the beta.
